Early Specialty Pressing (SP) is almost the same as [r=16168984, with the longer run time for track B2 listed at 5:18, but this variant does NOT have the Allied 'ɑ' stamp in the runouts.

During the performance of "The Electric Co.", Bono included a 27-second snippet of Stephen Sondheim's "Send in the Clowns". This gave licensing issues in some countries and was edited down on subsequent pressings (as well on the CD). This release does fully include this snippet and has a longer actual duration (5:18 instead of 4:51) which is also on the label.

'E A S T' may be embossed on one or both labels (and often is partially visible).
