Mostly studio recordings apart from tracks A3, A5 & B6 which are live (in front of an audience) recordings.  A3 & B6 were recorded at the first WOMAD festival in 1982 at Shepton Mallet. Track A5 was recorded in Normal IL, USA on December 3, 1982 with Peter Gabriel vocals, synth, piano, Jerry Marotta drums, percussion, box, Tony Levin bass, Stick, box, David Rhodes guitar, box, Larry Fast synth, piano. Prod by WOMAD foundation. Mastered by Steve Street.

A2 is two separate tracks with silence between the two.
B1 is an excerpt of the song from the album Ya Mustafa Noor Ul Huda.
B4 is the same studio recording released elsewhere.
