This Pitman pressing is an early repress version that still includes the studio (3:44) version of C3 "Jive Talkin'". There is a similar, later reissue Pitman pressing ([r9763352) that has the live (3:58) version of C3. Note that version has "REV.1" included in the side C run-out. Most versions in MR with studio version of C3 are on the 1976-78 label version that has "MANUFACTURED AND MARKETED BY POLYDOR..." in the rim text.

To assist in identifying this 1978-81 label version, the identification information is:
1. Larger "RSO Bull" without the ® below his back feet.
2. Left of spindle hole top-bottom "Record" with 1 or 2 indicator, "RS-2-4001" catalog number and "STEREO" on all sides
3. Right of spindle hole top-bottom "Side" with 1, 2, 3 or 4, label matrix in parenthesis, second catalog number "2658 123", "2479" and either "199" for Record 1 or "200" for Record 2.
4. "MANUFACTURED BY MARKETED BY RSO RECORDS, INC. 8335 SUNSET BLVD. Los Angeles, CA 90069" included in bottom rim text.

"CP" etched in all run-outs denotes a [l447694 pressing. The Pitman stamped "ᴘ" is also included on side C and D run-outs.

The first catalog number RS-2-4001 appears on the spine, labels and inner sleeve.  The second catalog number 2685 123 appears in the upper right corner of the back cover and on the labels.

All Runout data is etched with the exceptions of 1) "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" and the single letters and/or numbers (e.g., "B", "C", "P", "F"), which are stamped.
